Company History/Information

  • 1917 Dawn began in Coburg, Victoria, AU founded by four brothers.
  • Post-WWI through WWII they were very busy and manufactured for the Australian Defence Department
  • 1959 Dawn acquired by G.N. Raymond Group
  • 1973 Dawn acquired by Siddons Ramset Limited
  • 1991 Dawn acquired by Stanley Works Pty. Ltd. (USA)
  • 1998 Dawn moved back to Australia & is 100% Australian owned again.
