Post-WWI through WWII they were very busy and manufactured for the Australian Defence Department
1959 Dawn acquired by G.N. Raymond Group
1973 Dawn acquired by Siddons Ramset Limited
1991 Dawn acquired by Stanley Works Pty. Ltd. (USA)
1998 Dawn moved back to Australia & is 100% Australian owned again.
